Taught by experts

Our archery class is taught by experienced and certified Level 2 instructors who are members of the Tallahassee Archery Club. The course consists of two sessions. The first session is held at the Tallahassee Archery Center from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The second will be at the Tallahassee Archery Club on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The first meeting will be used to introduce different types of archery equipment including both compound and traditional bows. Students will be instructed on a range of topics such as range safety, terminology, shooting posture and stance, as well as basic shooting form. We will discuss the different types of archery ranging from tournaments to recreational shooting. The second session will be hands-on where students will gain practical shooting experience.

The cost for the course is $40.00, which includes the use of all equipment. Space is limited to 8 participants and registration is done through the Tallahassee Archery Center. For further information, please contact us at (850) 385-1323.

Tallahassee Archery Club

The Tallahassee Archery Club (TAC) is a local archery club for people that enjoy shooting all types of archery. The club has a bag practice range with targets ranging from 15 to 80 yards and the practice range has enough depth to accommodate all FITA distances out to 90 meters. The club has three 52" FITA mats available for membership use. They have four 3D ranges and a 20 target 3D practice range. They have recently completed a 14 target field range with distances ranging from 20 feet out to 80 yards. The club has monthly 3D trophy shoots from January through August and other various tournaments throughout the year.
