About Us

Richard Mann


Richard founded the Tallahassee Archery Center on his love for the sport. An avid hunter and tournament shooter, Richard has over forty years of experience in archery. He is an accomplished, award-winning member of the Archery Shooters Association and is passionate about the education of other shooters. If you have a question about hunting elk in Colorado or tweaking your gear configuration for you next tournament, Richard is the local expert in Tallahassee and the surrounding area.

Harrison Floyd


 Harrison Floyd started at the Tallahassee Archery Center in 2018. He is currently a student at Tallahassee Community College studying occupational therapy. He has become Richard’s right hand man in the archery department and is an avid archer and outdoorsman. In his free time he can be found either on the water or in the woods enjoying the outdoors and the great sport of archery. 

Jason Mitchell


Jason has been with the Tallahassee Archery Center since 2016. He grew up hunting and fishing in West Virginia but moved to Florida in 2015 to pursue a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology at Florida State University.

Ryan Chmelir


Ryan Chmelir began his tenure at the Tallahassee Archery Center in 2018. A native Floridian, he moved to Tallahassee to pursue a degree in accounting from Florida State University.

Kyle Bauer


Kyle Bauer came to the Tallahassee Archery Center in 2013. Raised in St. Augustine, he moved to Tallahassee after finishing high school and is a student at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Information Technology.
